The Journey of Self-Exploration!
Ramadan (Arabic: رَمَضَان), also spelled as Ramazan or Ramadhan, it’s the ninth month of the Islamic Calendar, observed by Muslims throughout the world for fasting, prayer, and reflection of self and community. The annual observance of Ramadan is regarded as one of the Five Pillars of Islam and lasts twenty-nine to thirty days, from one sighting of the crescent moon to the next. Fasting in Ramadan from dawn to sunset is Fard (Obligatory) for every adult healthy Muslim and the breaking of the fast comes the night meal, known as Iftar.
The spiritual rewards and awakening during Ramadan Kareem and the festive celebration of Eid at the end of Ramadan are one thing – the entire journey is another! The celebration of Ramadan by Islamic countries, the food preparations, lighting, praying, and the entire atmosphere of this mutual feeling is a sight in itself.
Naan Staap wants you to have a glimpse of the pleasantness Ramadan spreads – of course, we’re just trying to portray the vibe (best possible). Sip on the blessing!
